Yes, prediction markets are available in Florida. As of October 17, 2026 we found no action by Florida’s Attorney General, the Florida Gaming Control Commission or other state bodies against Kalshi, Polymarket US, Novig, PredictIt or others. Florida is also one of the few states that didn’t join the October 2026 multistate brief against Kalshi.
Florida’s position
Florida’s only legal sports betting runs through its compact with the Seminole Tribe, approved federally in 2021. State law says sports wagers, including those placed “using a mobile or other electronic device,” “shall be deemed to be exclusively conducted by the Tribe,” and that “a person must be 21 years of age or older to wager on sports betting.” Florida’s Attorney General has spoken out against illegal gambling generally, but we found no action naming a prediction market.
